It's pretty clear that a trip to the police station is a bad thing but, this time Theodore is not the suspect. Instead, He was there to answer some questions about his friend, X-ray. Detective Newberg is nicer to Armpit now but detective does not know that Armpit and X-ray know each other. It was really uneasy for Armpit to be listening to his friend lie to the cops to stay out of being arrested. This chapter was one of those parts were "it" was thrown in to say something or to move the story one step closer to it's finish. That is one the really cool things that the author does to carry on. He uses conflicts that lead to a completely different situation then gets into another conflict which ends up with an even bigger situation.

Love- When kiara and armpit saw each other in san fransisco and kissed a lot.
Anger- When Armpit saw X-ray after the concert and grabbed him by the collar and threataned him.
Embarresment- When Kiara threw coffee all over Armpits face and everyone saw.

Have you taken too big of a step that youve been knocked down? Well try taking a small step by reading this book.

This book is about 2, 15 year old kids named X-ray and Armpit that got out of camp green lake juvinile correctional camp and are trying to sort thier lives out, by leaving the past and looking twoards the future. So they jobs in ticket scalping for kiara Deleon concerts. It goes good until they run out of tickets.

I liked this book because it had really actiony stuff like fighting and yelling.

The book is really active and nonstop action, there are a lot of fights adn arguments. I usually don't like reading books but when I started this book, the few first chapters really pulled me into reading this book.

I Would Reccomend this book to ages 12 or older and anyone that likes music. Boys or girls would love this book because there is enough action for boys and enough romance for girls. This book is a little violent so thats why 12 and up should read it. Like me, even if you hate reading more than anything in the world i strongly suggest this book

This is a story about two boys named Armpit (Theodore) and X-Ray. I'm reading the book Small Steps in my humanities class. He first went to a camp called camp green lake and when he got out he wanted to sort things out from the past and look twards the future. Now he would like to be called by his real name Theodore. X-Ray knows he has money so he tries talking him into give him money to buy tickets for a Kaira De Leon concert so he can ticket scalp them. In other words he is gonna sell the tickets he bought for a mlot more money. Kaira De Leon is an African American pop star. Theodore's neighbor has cerebral palsy and has a lot of seizers. Her name is Ginny. Theodore decides that he wants to ask Tatiana (a girl that he likes) to go with him to the concert. When she says yes he gets happy and then her friends make fun of her and she has to make an excuse to not go with him. So he believes her excuse and he decides to take Ginny instead. When they are at the concert Ginny has a seizure and the cops come over and they want to check his tickets so he hands them the fake tickets that x-ray gave him and Then the cops get into a fight with armpit and he goes to the hospital at the concert and they meet Kaira Deleon there and kaira offers them back stage seats
